Residential, visitor attraction and ecological restoration

This option for the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor Regeneration Area has a strong emphasis on ecological restoration with a range of non-ticketed and ticketed visitor attractions together with a range of intermediate period and permanent residential uses.

It includes an exchange of land between Rawhiti and Avondale Golf courses with a new course in Bexley. The existing courses are re-developed for residential use.
