Technical and Community Advisory Group

The Technical and Community Advisory Group acts as a sounding board and discussion forum to support Regenerate Christchurch through the development of the draft Ōtākaro Avon River Regeneration Plan.


The purpose of the Technical and Community Advisory Group

  • Critique and provide feedback and comment on the information, studies, assessments and scenarios developed by the Project.

  • Provide information and knowledge on the community (environmental, resilience, cultural, economic and social) needs and networks in the communities that have connections within the residential red zone.


Note: this is not a decision-making group. Members have no powers of veto – the process is an information-sharing experience only.
